In July 2000, the global diamond industry made clear to the international community its zero
tolerance policy towards conflict diamonds. We strongly support and adhere to the policy
known as the Kimberley Process. We believe it is morally incorrect to support any kind of
warfare, or discrimination of individuals in the course of our doing business.
Every parcel of rough diamonds that we cut includes a Government Validated Kimberley Process
Certificate (such as the one shown below), which assures us that the mining of these stones has
not funded conflict in war-torn areas, particularly in central and western Africa.
